Bus Stop Films remains committed to advocating for inclusive filmmaking both in front of and behind the camera.
Over the course of the year, Bus Stop Films may offer students the opportunity to apply for film production attachments.
We run a fair and equitable process for our students, which means, students are required to formally apply for the opportunity and submit their application by the advised deadline date.
You can find all available opportunities here.
Watch a TV Show Being Filmed Live!
The team at Orange Entertainment have an opportunity for 10 Bus Stop Films students to view the online production of the TV show Retrograde. Students would watch the show being filmed by zoom. Retrograde is being made for ABC + iView. You can learn more about the show here – https://iview.abc.net.au/show/retrograde
Our friends at Taste Creative are shooting the second season of Perspective Shift. An inclusively made TV documentary series that will screen on SBS.
They need some background extras for a re-enactment scene of a research group with Dr Jackie Leach Scully at UNSW’s Disability Innovation Institute.
A background extra is an acting role that means you will be in the shoot but do not speak.
